In this Pushpa review, we’ll talk about what we liked and disliked about this film. The film is a love story, set against the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling. We’ll also look at how Sukumar crafted the story, which follows a beggar who becomes a crowned king. The film is a long watch, lasting over three hours, but the movie remains gripping and entertaining throughout. Although it contains some loose ends in the plot, the film is still presented as an overall good story package.
It is clear that director Sukumar intended to make Pushpa in a rustic manner, but this film is a far cry from Rangasthalam. In a movie about a gangster, it is not atypical, but it is certainly memorable. While the narrative is fairly generic, the performances are superb and the action scenes are thrilling, the movie could’ve used a bit more chopping.
The action is intense, and Allu Arjun’s performance is fantastic. The film is one of Allu Arjun’s best, and the de-glam Rashmika looks fine. Fahadh Faasil and Sunil have little to do in the first half, while Anasuya failed to bring villainism well. It is a film about the power of one man to overcome adversity and achieve success.
Pushpa was a very emotional film, with an interesting premise and great performances. The story revolves around a daily wage worker, Allu Arjun, who leads a group of smugglers. Red sanders is a very rare wood found in the Seshachalam Hills in Andhra Pradesh. Pushpa has his own rules and dreams, but is also motivated by his comrade Keshav, a character played by Fahadh Faasil.
The film has a mediocre score and poor editing. It could have been finished in one sitting. Its cinematography and production values are excellent, but the editing and VFX work are disappointing. Overall, this is a watchable film for the majority of people. And if you love Allu Arjun and Allu’s bravado, you’ll enjoy this film! So, if you’re thinking about seeing Pushpa, don’t miss out on this one. You’ll be glad you did.
A dazzling sequel to Pushpa was recently announced, and will debut on Amazon Prime Video in January 2023. The film will continue on Netflix and other streaming services. You can even watch Pushpa online, if you’re an Amazon Prime member. You’ll definitely be able to catch up on the movie when it’s released. It won’t be too long before a new movie comes out.
